HARMONY Shift Bidding
Shift and vacation bidding are time consuming processes. HARMONY’s new shift and vacation bidding module helps you reduce administrative costs, offering a solution that integrates shift and vacation bidding into a complete workforce scheduling and time & attendance system.
Using the vacation bidding module dispatchers can streamline the vacation bidding process. Dispatchers indicate how many employees are allowed off on certain weeks and set up the period in which employees can enter their bids. The system also supports multiple rounds for vacation bidding. When the bid period opens, employees eligible to bid are automatically notified.
Entering Bids Online
HARMONY WebAccess provides online access to employee schedules and additional scheduling functionality via intranet or Internet using a secure connection. When bid periods open, employees can easily log on to HARMONY WebAccess and enter their bids.
Reviewing Bids Entered
During the bid period, the dispatcher can monitor the bids entered and send reminders to all employees that did not enter their bids yet, when the close date of the bid period approaches. In addition, dispatchers can check the expected awards based on the bids entered so far at any time. Of course, dispatchers are also able to enter bids for employees when the employees are not able to enter their bids online for whatever reason.
