Complex order picking and warehouse processes

ORTEC Mobile Logistics Solutions (MLS) is a SAP certified add-on. Fully integrated into the SAP Logistics Execution System (LES), it expands the WM warehouse management components by introducing additional warehouse processes. One of the focal points is the formation of complex picking processes.

MLS supports a number of preconfigured warehouse processes such as pick and pack, pallet repacking, reserve place management within a picking location and several fixed locations per article, along with management of “best when used before” dates and remaining shelf life dates, LES transport picking and much more.

The infrastructure that MLS provides supports the linkage of mobile end devices such as, forklift terminals, MDE devices or pick by voice systems –along with the integration of automation technology.

MLS can be used alone or in combination with all LEO modules.

When simultaneously using the LEO Optimizer for carton, pallet and load space optimization along with Leo MLS, you benefit from a comprehensive and flexible logistics solutions leading to the optimization of the your entire distribution logistics chain which is integrated into SAP.

ORTEC provides the essential factors for the successful use of a paperless system in the warehouse with MLS:

• Processes can be synchronized to the work with an end device (voice or MDE).

• The task list for the end devices can be broken down according to logistical aspects

• Warehouse employees are systematically led through the process.

• The user surface on MDE devices is intuitive and understandable at a glance

• It is only necessary to make manual entries on the device in exceptional cases.
