Renewed SAP Certification for LEO – the Logistics Execution Optimizer from ORTEC LOGIPLAN GmbH

April 2007 – ORTEC, one of the largest logistics providers of advanced planning and optimization software solutions and consulting services, has received official certification for its LEO (Logistics Execution Optimizer) for the SAP versions “mySAP ERP 2004” and “mySAP ERP 2005.”

With its various modules, the ABAP LEO add-on supports essential logistics processes, systematically enhancing the standard functionality of the SAP Supply Chain Management system. LEO is a comprehensive and completely integrated solution for the planning and controlling of logistics processes from carton and pallet optimization to order picking planning and controlling of complex picking processes and to load space and route planning,.

With this certification, LEO is capable of being integrated into the existing SAP system environment without any extensive interventions. Additional security is offered by the use of the official SAP system installation method with automatic compatibility check. SAP certification guarantees fast and smooth software launch without any surprises.

The modular components of LEO can be custom-arranged to fit the needs of the customer. For example, the route planning module can be used independently just like the carton, pallet and load space optimization, and order picking solutions.

All LEO modules directly access the data within the SAP system, thus making interfaces unnecessary. The data relevant to LEO are stored and maintained within the SAP system.
