ORTEC and Navara join forces to offer improved support to the services market

ORTEC and Navara, the software division of RAM Mobile Data, will be joining forces. Navara and ORTEC have developed a standard XML interface between the Navara Mobility Suite and ORTEC Service Planning. By forming this partnership, both parties have taken an important step towards even more effectively fulfilling the market’s needs.

This is why ORTEC and Navara have formed this working partnership to provide a total solution for organizations looking to manage their field staff more effectively and efficiently.

Impetus

“ORTEC scheduling systems are never intended as standalone systems; their integration with Navara’s mobile solutions creates a formidable proposition for the service market,” according to Daan Boon, ORTEC Sales Director. Joachim Kaarsgaren, Navara General Manager, adds, “We are aware that the cost savings that can be realized with mobile job ticketing will receive an added impetus if field staff scheduling can also be automated.”

Navara is the software division of RAM Mobile Data and the name given to the software platform with which mobile applications are built. These applications provide companies and organizations with the ability to open up their existing critical operational systems easily to employees in the field.

Its open platform enables data to be retrieved rapidly and easily from different databases and rendered accessible for mobile use regardless of the type of PDA or terminal used to access the data. Navara has offices in The Netherlands, Belgium, and the United States.
