SHORTREC and SAP optimize Campina's logistics

Campina’s logistics activities have grown consistently over the years. The company realized that savings could be realized with a better overview of the entire process. Hans Wieleman, Head of Logistics & Transport at Campina: ‘The old system of manual planning involved stacks of paper using distance tables. It all worked but was very challenging to manage. What’s more, it became increasingly difficult to get a clear insight into the costs of all these transport operations. Our planning process had to be automated.’
