Project Manager SAP
What do we ask from you?
You will manage the day-to-day actives associated with delivering software and services to customers and you will be the primary customer contact during product implementation. Your responsibilities include creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking customer requirements and translating customer requests into specifications.
Qualifications we are looking for
- A minimum of 6, and a preferred 8 plus, years of demonstrated experience managing broad (multiple modules / functions) SAP implementations, a significant amount of experience within Food and Beverage and Consumer Product Goods companies. Your experience would likely be a combination of FB/CPG companies and consulting industry experience.
- Prior experience participating on sales pursuit teams for SAP implementation projects are a plus.
- Deep experience in SAP, SAP Methodology, and SAP implementation accelerators.
- Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree – following disciplines preferred: Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Advanced Mathematics.
- Possess a familiarity with project management methodology evidenced by a proven track record of referenceable participation in medium to large development/integration projects.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
- Ability to deal with situations that can be interpreted in many ways.
- Able to convey a vision and align a team.
- Pass a Background Check.
Some of your responsibilities and key functions
- Carry a project from requirements elicitation through test scenario creation, test plan creation, test execution, and user acceptance testing execution.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, business and technical personnel and present findings and recommendations in a highly professional manner.
- Conduct meetings and requirements gathering sessions with business and technical staff.
- Setting/managing customer expectations and exceeding those expectations.
- Report to Director or Senior Project Manager.
- Able to set priorities and define what should be done and how it should be accomplished
- Apply new approaches to problem solving
